Browser settings

Netscape Navigator 7.1 o Open the Edit menu then click on Preferences… 
o Click on the Advanced directory and select the option 
Enable native objects scripts
o Click on the Confidentiality & Security directory: 
- Select the option Accept all cookies in the Cookies section 
- Check that the option “Block unsolicited pop-up windows” in the Popup windows section 
is not ticked 
o Open the Cache sub-directory in the Advanced directory, select the option 
Once per session and validate with OK.

 

 
Printing documents correctly
 

In order to print the documents available on Eolis, please check that your browser is set up as follows:

For Internet Explorer 
Select the “Tools/Internet Options”  menu for IE 5 and over
Click the “Advanced” tab
Scroll down the list and tick “ Print background colours and images” box in the Printing section and validate.

For Netscape
Select the “File” menu
Click the "Page Setup" option.
Tick the "Print Backgrounds" box in the "Page Options" section.

 
Emptying the cache
 

If you have problems connecting or refreshing data (the same data is always displayed after the page is updated), we recommend that you try the following:

For Internet Explorer 
Select  the “Tools/Internet Options”  menu for IE 5 and over.
Click the "Settings” button in the “Advanced” tab
Select the “Delete files” option, confirm by clicking "OK" then click "OK" to close the dialogue box.

For Netscape
Select the "Edit / Preferences"  menu.
Click the "Advanced/ Cache" option.
Select the "Empty memory cache" button, then click on "OK".

 
I am unable to change the browser settings
 

You almost certainly have a version that has been restricted by the supplier or your network administrator.
You will have to go on the internet to install another version of the browser or contact your supplier. If you have been blocked by your company, ask your technical support team to unblock it for you.

 
Finding out your browser version
 

For Internet Explorer 
On the menu, click on "?" (or “Help”).
Then click on “About Internet Explorer".
The version number is displayed.

For Netscape
On the menu, click on "Help"
Then click on "About Netscape Navigator"
The version number is displayed.
