Reading and downloading a PDF document
 

1. Use the free download of Acrobat ® Reader™.

2. To view the document, click the “Open” button

3. To save the document on your workstation
Click the “Open” button". Once the viewing window is open, click on the small diskette icon at top-left of the screen and choose the location on your workstation where you wish to save the file . 

NB: To do this, version 5.0 or a later version of Acrobat Reader is required. If you have a previous version, please download the latest version.

 

 
Downloading Acrobat® Reader™ 
 

Acrobat® Reader™  is free software distributed by Adobe which allows documents to be read and saved onto your workstation.
Installing version 5.0 or later is essential to read and save forms in PDF format. We can tell you that downloading the Acrobat® Reader™ installation file may take 20 to 30 minutes.

You can install Acrobat® Reader™ at the time when you first attempt to read a PDF format document. You can also install it from this help page, just by clicking on the icon below and following the comprehensive instructions that are found on the Adobe website:

You will be guided throughout the installation procedure.
NB : Ensure that no antivirus software is running before starting the installation.

1. Installing Acrobat® Reader™ 5.0 :
Follow the instructions displayed on the screen as the installation progresses .  If you have any doubts, see the Installing Acrobat® Reader™ section on the Acrobat website

2. When downloading the software :

In the dialogue box that opens, tick the “Save to disk” box, and save the file in the directory suggested (C:/Temp/) and then click the Ok button; the installation file will download and then run itself automatically.

 
Downloading files
 

Files to be downloaded are in text format.

1. Save the file in text format on your workstation.

2. Open the file from an Excel-type spreadsheet.
Make sure you select “All files” (*.*)" from the “Files of type” dropdown list in order to see the text file to be opened.

3. Follow the Excel Import Wizard steps for text files
Step 1/3 : Original data type: select “Delimited” then click “Next”
Step 2/3 : Delimiters: select “Tab” then click “Next”
Step 3/3 : Column data format: select "General” then click “Finish”
Your file is now readable from within Excel.

4. Save the new file in Excel format on your workstation.

 
Printing documents from your browser
 

Click on the “Print” action button if there is one on the EOLIS page. Otherwise follow the instructions below.

1. Click inside the frame that you wish to print in order to select it.

2. Click the right button of the mouse then select the “Print” menu (Ctrl + P).
